The first assignment was my reflective essay. I titled this essay "My Interesting Experience With Writing". This assignment was to analyze and reflect upon my past writing experiences and acknowledge my growth and potential areas as a writer. The essay would show my professor where I was at in writing. It also allowed my professor to know what I need to work on when writing. 

Writing the opening reflection was tough because my entire high school experience was the same, a five-paragraph essay type. I acknowledged that within the opening reflection. I also talked about how my teachers never really gave me feedback so I didn't know exactly where my writing stood. This made reflecting on my writing hard because I did not know what kind of writer I was. If I were to rewrite the essay I would fix a few grammatical errors because grammar is not my best talent. I even talked about that within my essay as well.
